COVAL's MVS flexible suction pads
They can adapt to all speeds
Exponential technological progress in electronics allows robotic manufacturers to offer ever operational speeds. The objective of the user is obviously to increase productivity. But the other components need to follow this trend. For this reason COVAL has developed a new range of flexible MVS suction pads.
High speed suction pads
Their design in silicon offers food industry compatibility. They also possess highly flexible lips. The MVS cups offer 35 shore hardness, whereas the standard suction pads have shore hardness of between 50 and 60. This flexibility enables gripping of all types of materials at high speeds: cheese bags, muffins, sausages, perfume bottle stoppers etc. Speeds get up to 120 pick/place cycles per minute.
Large range and diverse applications
The entire range of COVAL's flexible suction cups is available in 1,5 or 2,5 bellows with diameters from 14 to 30 mm.
The flexibility of the MVS suction pads mean they are particularly adapted to gripping numerous products and materials: Grated cheese packets, compote pouches, muffins and cakes, bag opening and filling, sausage picking, pick and place of champagne corks.
